Well, we've been sitting on this news for quite awhile (seems like forever), but…Chad and I are expecting our first baby April 1, 2007!!  We're 12 weeks along now (almost) and we went to hear the heartbeat this morning (heart rate was 155).  The dr. gave us the all-clear for telling everyone we know…she said that the risk of miscarriage after 12 weeks and after hearing the heartbeat is almost 0.

Now that we're almost out of the first trimester, the morning sickness is getting better.  I still get it sometimes (like this morning), but it's not an everyday thing anymore.

Oh yeah, and yesterday was my LAST DAY OF WORK!!!  YAY!!!  Today doesn't seem much different than any other Friday, though, because we're getting ready for training next week, so I'm still doing the laundry and shopping and cleaning, just like I always do.  I can't wait until we get home, though…I think it will sink in more then.

Now that I've been told to update enough times, I'm finally getting around to it. 

I don't remember if I already wrote this, but we decided to move to Kansas.  We'll be moving at the end of October, but my last day of work will be this Thursday (YAY!!!).  This is a great opportunity for us, but I don't really want to move.   I know I'll adjust to it, though…and we get to come back every month for visits (I've got Chad locked into that now…LOL).

We found a rental house that we really like, and the last time I checked (a few days ago), it was still available.  In a couple weeks, we're going back to Kansas for a few days and if it isn't taken then, we're going to put a security deposit on it.  I really hope it's still there.  It has a fenced backyard for Buddy (so he doesn't need to tied up anymore), two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a basement.  There's even a little pond in the backyard.

We're heading out to take Buddy for a walk now…I can't believe how cool it is outside today!
