Buddy is jumping up and down on my last nerve again today. It's warmer outside, so he spent most of the day out there, but every time he came in, he was a little terror. I always keep the potatoes on the floor next to the stove, but today I heard some weird noises coming from the kitchen and I went in there and he'd taken the whole bag, taken all the potatoes out and taken a bite out of all of them. I wouldn't have minded if he'd taken one and eaten the whole thing, but he had to take a bite out of ALL of them!!! Luckily, there were only 4 or 5 there, but I was still so mad. He *NEVER* chews on anything but his toys (and he wasn't hungry either….his food dish was full just like it always is). We can even leave his treat bag open and he won't take any out. Oh well. Plus, with it being warmer, it's muddy outside, so the floor is covered with mud and every time he comes sliding inside, he sprays mud on the fridge and stove. *sigh*

31 Week belly pictures are up!

We got some really good news today!  I was approved for the insurance down here!!  That was a lot faster than I expected….the lady I talked to said she wasn't even sure if I'd be approved by the time the baby is born.  I should be getting my confirmation letter tomorrow, so that means I won't have to pay for my doctor appointment on Tuesday (and I can get the money back that we already paid the doctor….going to use that for some much-needed repairs on my car).  For some reason, Chad wasn't approved (they said it was because his
income was too high….HELLO????  We have the same income!), but I'm
going to talk to the eligibility people next week and hopefully get
something figured out.  It wasn't as important for him to have coverage
right now anyway.  I'm just so glad that we don't have to worry about paying for all these doctor appointments anymore!

Right now, we're waiting for Kim and Rob to get here.  They're spending the weekend with us, so that should be fun.

It's finally a little warmer out!  We were up to 41* today.  Buddy spent most of the day outside, which was just fine with me.  It gave me a chance to get his bed washed and the kitchen floor mopped.

Well, I think Chad and I are going to go play cards now.  Kim and Rob aren't going to be here until 9, so I don't have to start supper until 8:15 or 8:30.

My 29-week belly pic is up!  I only posted one, because my mom made me take one with my face in it and I didn't like the way my face looked in the other ones.Tongue out

It sure is cold here!  We went from 63* down to about 15*, with snow and ice.  At least it's sunny today…it's been cloudy and snowy and gloomy for the last couple of days.  Buddy is driving me insane.  He hates the snow, so he doesn't want to go outside.  He'll get all excited when I open the door, but then he sees the snow and just stops in his tracks and refuses to go out….I actually have to push him out the door to go to the bathroom.  Since he's not spending any time outside, he's extremely hyper and I'm at my wits end with him.  I've been getting him out for little walks around the block, but it's really cold!!

Chad's staying home with me today….I told him he should stay home because it's a holiday, but I really just didn't want to face Buddy alone.

Not much else to write about right now.  I've got to get Buddy out for one of those little walks around the block and then hopefully both of us will feel better…..

28 Week Belly Pics are up!

We're one week into the third trimester now!!  On Sunday, we'll only have 12 weeks to go!!  I think the last trimester is really going to crawl, though.  I've been staying busy, but I still think it will go really slow.  Maybe that's why I've been so crabby lately.  Seriously, Chad and Buddy have to tiptoe around, never knowing when they're going to get their heads bit off.  I'm blaming hormones, being unbelievably uncomfortable, and lack of sleep, but I don't really know why I've been so crabby.

I've started doing fetal kick counts.  I'm kind of nervous about it, though, because I know I'm a born worrier and I'm afraid that paying such close attention to it will only make me worry more.  I just finished doing the today's kick count and it took almost 40 minutes to get 10 movements, because she wasn't really awake.  Now that I'm done, she's moving all over the place….Tongue out  She probably moved 10 times in the last 2 minutes….

I haven't had to work with Chad at all this week.  I like working with him because I get to be with him all day, but at the same time, I don't like it because we get home at the end of the day and I still have all the cooking and housework and laundry that didn't get done during the day.  It's been nice having all day to get stuff done now.  And I got to work on Ava's birth sampler a lot….I'm almost done with the butterfly (for those of you who have seen the picture).

I have my first appointment with my new doctor on Tuesday.  I was really mad because I wanted a female OB, but all the female OB's I could find weren't accepting new patients.  So I settled for a male OB.  Plus, since my insurance application hasn't gone through yet, we have to pay $250 up-front.  If the insurance company covers the visit later, though, I get the money back.  I really, really hope the application goes through fast!
