Ava and I went to the park today to meet with the group of SAHM’s I joined. Only one other mom showed up (I’m guessing the heat chased people away), but it was still a lot of fun. She has a 15-month old son and he’s so cute! We rode on the train and carousel…Ava slept on the train, but she liked the carousel. It was really nice to get together with another SAHM. It gets pretty lonely down here.

I did Pilates again today! Second day in a row!!

I’m heading for bed soon. I’ve got to get Ava out of our bed first. Little stinker fell asleep in there and I’m going to have to swaddle her before I put her in her bed.

It has been so long since I updated….

Ava has an eye infection, so I took her to the doctor this morning and we have drops to put in her eyes 3 times a day. Poor princess….her eye is so watery that sometimes she just has a tear rolling down her cheek when she’s not even crying or unhappy.

We went to storytime again this morning…Ava loves it. She sits on my lap and actually watches the lady that’s reading. It’s so much fun to read to her now because she actually looks at the pictures while I’m reading. Anyway, after it was over, we went shopping for Father’s Day cards. Now all our running around is done and we don’t have to set foot out of the house until Saturday!!

Today I spent 5 minutes in each room (20 in the kitchen) doing a general pickup. It’s amazing how much just those 5 minutes help!! My goal is to do that everyday.

I did Pilates today! Ava laid on the floor under her play-gym next to me. It only takes 10 minutes, so she didn’t have any trouble being good for that long. I’m going to be sore tomorrow. I’m going to try to convince Chad to go on a walk this evening, too. I’ve really got to get my butt in gear…I’ve got 15 pounds that I want gone in the next 9 months.

Well, since Ava’s still sleeping, I think I’ll go vaccum the kitchen…
