Have you been wanting to lose a little weight? I know a lot of the people who read my blog are moms, so maybe we have a little baby fat we want to get rid of (I know I do, but it’s a little later for that now!). Have you ever thought about trying weight loss pills ? This seems to be one of the latest dieting techniques and it’s worth looking into!

Are you looking for ways to improve the look and feel of your home? Have you considered making changes to your light fixtures ? Maybe I’m just weird, but that’s one of the first things I notice in a room. We have a really cool one in our upstairs bathroom. Around the edge, it has moon, sun and star shapes that the light shines through. I think that’s my favorite ceiling light I’ve seen so far.

Are your eyes not as good as they used to be? Do you sometimes have trouble reading small print or seeing tiny details? Have you thought about using magnifying glasses ? When I first went to this site, I thought they were just selling basic magnifying glasses…you know, the kind detectives use. But they have so much more than that! They even have magnifying desk lamps and special goggles you can wear while watching TV so you can see print on the screen better!

We just wanted to let everyone know that we’re expecting our second baby!! Ava’s going to be a big sister!! I’m due October 5…right around the Feast. 
We got off to a little bit of a worrisome start….I went in to have a blood test since I was having a lot of cramping and the test was definitely positive, but my beta numbers were slightly low. I went back 48 hours later to have blood drawn again to see if the numbers doubled…and they TRIPLED!!! We’re so excited that it looks like everything is OK!
I haven’t had an actual doctor appointment yet, but I will in about 3 weeks. Since they had me wait so long, we’ll get to hear the heartbeat at the first appointment. I’m not sure if I’m going to have an ultrasound, though. With my luck, this doctor will be just like the one in WI and only give me one at 20 weeks (I had this doctor with my last pregnancy, too, but I didn’t start going to him until 28 weeks, so I have no idea what he does in the beginning of the pregnancy).
I kind of have a feeling this baby is a boy. I just feel totally different than I did with Ava. Plus I’m craving all sour stuff….the other night I actually drank lime juice straight out of the bottle! I’ve had people tell me not to be so sure it’s a boy, though…some people said they had pregnancies that were polar opposites and thought they were having a different gender the second time around, but it was the same. We’ll see, though. We’ll be happy with either, of course!
Well, I really have to go to bed. I’ve been so exhausted lately. And here it is almost 11…what am I thinking????

I forgot to update about how the movie went! Ava did so awesome! She was such a good girl! She sat on my lap and watched the first half of the movie and then she got hungry so she ate her bottle and then went to sleep and woke up for the very end. Not a peep the entire time!!

Ava’s tooth finally popped through on Monday!! That sure was miserable….I think that might have been the worst tooth so far. 
We just got home from playgroup and she was exhausted (as she always is around this time), so I nursed her and put her to bed. I ran downstairs and threw a load of laundry in and when I came back upstairs, I heard a banging noise coming from her room. I peeked in and she was wide awake, banging the star from her shape sorter against the side of her crib. She has never done that before (playing instead of immediately calling for me as soon as she wakes up). Then I went to lay her back down and found out she had also been busy in her diaper. So I changed her, fed her (again) and she’s finally back to sleep.
I’ve got to keep moving…we have a different playgroup in about 45 minutes….

Do you need some new vacation ideas? Have you thought about staying at Branson hotels ? We’d love to spend more time in Branson. Last year when we were in Springfield for Aire-Master training, we planned to head over to Kansas afterwards to get things ready for our move. We had to go through Branson on our way and there’s so much to do there that I tried to convince Chad to just stay there instead of going to Kansas. LOL He said no, of course. And added bonus if you pick Branson as your vacation spot is that you’ll only be a couple hours away from us!

Ava and I are so excited about going to see the Pirates Who Don’t Do Anything today! I’ll let you all know how it goes when we get back!
Daddy has to work today, though, so it’s going to be just Mommy and Ava. He didn’t want to go anyway, though.
She’s still teething, so we’re going to have to dope her up with ibuprofen and teething tablets before we go. 
I really hope that tooth comes through soon!
