With the Days of Unleavened Bread coming up, I haven’t had much time for blogging lately. Plus, it’s finally warming up outside and Ava wants to spend as much time out there as possible (except when it’s windy…she doesn’t like wind very much).
We haven’t had any more problems with the pregnancy, luckily. I’m pretty sure the pool of blood hasn’t resolved itself yet because I still have brown spotting occasionally, but we haven’t had any new problems.
I thought everyone might get a kick out of hearing my story from yesterday. I was driving to Wal-Mart and I was on a road where the speed limit was 35, but it seems like it’s in the middle of nowhere, so it seems like you should be able to go faster…so I was going 50 without realizing it. Well, I came over the top of a hill and there was a police car sitting at the bottom facing me. I slowed down, but I know he saw me going 15 over the speed limit. As soon as I passed him, he turned around and started following me and I knew I was done for. My stomach cramped up and I couldn’t remember where my registration was…it was horrible. But…he didn’t turn his lights on right away. He just kept following me. I was sitting there thinking maybe I just couldn’t see his lights because the sun was so bright and I was about ready to pull over anyway when he really did turn his lights on. I thought, “Oh great…here it comes.” So I pulled over and the cop WHIZZED RIGHT PAST ME AND PULLED OVER THE CAR IN FRONT OF ME!!!! I was in shock but definitely not complaining!!!! And so my reputation of never being pulled over lives on….LOL
