Have you ever tried these suction cup bowls by Munchkin? I just bought a set and my mom said that the bowls she bought didn’t work very well (she didn’t say what brand they were, though), so I was wondering what everyone else’s experience is with these. I’m hoping these ones work…I’d like to be able to feed Ava food in a bowl instead of just putting it on the table, but I know she would end up flinging regular bowls across the room. *rolls eyes*

If you’re not satisfied with your current credit card(s) or just need another one, check out this site! This is definitely one-stop shopping as far as credit cards go! They have countless categories for you to search in depending on what is most important to you, such as: low interest, no annual fee, balance transfer, cash back, business, bad credit, etc. They also sort cards by issuer in case you have a certain one that you like better. They provide the credit card rating and you can apply for the card right from their site! How much easier could it be?

I’m finally going to do it! I’ve been using the room that is supposed to be my sewing room as a storage for way too long! The main thing that’s taking up room in there is all of Ava’s outgrown clothes. But today I bought enough bins to sort them by size and I’m going to try and get everything sorted and packed away this weekend. I also have bags of my non-maternity clothes that I’m going to put into a bin, too. Then once we get a dehumidifier, all the bins of clothes will be heading for the basement. It might be a few weeks before we get the dehumidifier, but it will look a lot better just having everything sorted, even if it is all still in the sewing room. I’m not sure if I’ll get to this today, but hopefully it will all be done by Sunday night. I’ll be sure to take before and after pictures!

I know quite a few of my readers host their own websites for various things or are wanting to start hosting their own websites. This is the perfect site for you! This site offers tons of information on finding reliable web hosting and also offers web hosting tutorials. What I found interesting about this site is that it focuses on affordable (“cheap”) web hosting because they know that’s one of people’s main concerns (well, it’s mine, at least). If you’re at all interested in web hosting or getting into web hosting, you really need to check out this site!

Today Ava and I went to go visit her very favorite nurses at the breastfeeding clinic. She also got weighed, of course, and she’s 23 lbs, 13 oz! I can’t believe how big she’s getting! She’s almost tripled her birth weight! Only about 1 more pound and then she won’t even be able to be weighed on their scale anymore!
I also ordered the birth sampler I’m going to make for the baby. I’m going to have to get busy on that as soon as it comes! I can’t believe he’ll be here in only a few months!

Do you want a free Ipod nano? Who wouldn’t, right? I, for one, would love one…I’ve thought about buying one for quite awhile, but there always seems to be more important things to spend money on (usually Ava and the baby). So I think it would be awesome to win one!
Development Dimensions International (DDI) is offering the opportunity to win one and all you have to do is fill out a short online survey! To take the survey, click here After you fill out the survey, you will be asked for your email address and contact information so they can reach you if you win. Then they will randomly select one winner from those who complete the survey.

When Chad came home from work today, he put together the baby’s changing table! I wasn’t going to ask him to do it until we had a room cleared out for it, but I guess we’ll keep it in Ava’s room until the baby’s room becomes available. At least I didn’t even have to ask him to do it!
I was surprised because it’s a lot sturdier than it looked in the pictures we saw online. AND, a changing pad came with it so I can return the one I paid $20 for! So I’m very happy with it!

It’s pretty much impossible today to be a parent and not hear conflicting ideas about vaccines. In his book, Vaccinated, Paul Offit, MD shares not only the history of vaccines (including information on Maurice Hilleman, who takes credit for nine vaccines), but he explains the flaws in arguments against vaccinating and shows how much vaccines have done for the human race.

Here is one of my favorite slow cooker recipes! And it’s so easy, too…it takes about 5 minutes to throw together:
4 chicken breast tenderloins
1 lb bag of frozen mixed vegetables
2 cans whole new potatoes (or slice up your own)
1/2 bottle of Italian dressing
Place the chicken breasts on the bottom of crock pot and pour half the Italian dressing over them. Pour the vegetables and potatoes on top and pour on the rest of the dressing. Cook on low for 6 hours. After about 5 hours, dice or shred the chicken. Add more dressing as needed.
Note: I usually serve some sort of rice with this dish, so I usually omit the potatoes.
