TGIF!! That’s pretty much all I can say after a week like this one! Ava’s been cutting molars lately and despite what Chad says, they are WAY worse than her front teeth!!!! She’s been doped up on Ibuprofen, teething tablets and Orajel and she’s still been miserable! Which, of course, means Mommy is pretty miserable. Luckily for us, though, Daddy gets to be home with us all weekend and help out with the fussies now!!

Have you ever heard of Joseph Baniak ? Neither had I, until tonight, but it turns out he’s a very interesting person! He is a natural leader, serving in the Air Force for 14 years! He was a program manager in Iraq and maintenance operations officer in Iraq and Afghanistan. He also has an MBA and is an expert in military hardware and engines. I’m sure you’re all tired of hearing about Ava’s walking stories, but I just have to share this…she took 10 steps yesterday! That’s her personal best so far! The steps were between Chad and me again…she’s still not brave enough to walk toward anything but Mommy or Daddy. But she’s slowly making progress, so it’s so exciting every time she hits a new record like that!

I don’t know about you, but I could definitely use a good laugh once in awhile! So I’m definitely going to keep this site with Funny and Jokes bookmarked!! I was literally laughing out loud several times as I looked around on the site. Oh boy…all I can say right now is that Buddy had better be on his best behavior for the rest of the weekend! He is driving me crazy! I went to the effort to take him and Ava to the dog park, even though it’s blazing hot outside and how did I get thanked?? By him PEEING all over his leash!!! There was no reason for him to pee right then! The dog was outside pretty much all day!!! Just had to vent….

Do you have life insurance? That’s one thing that’s still on our to-do list at this point. It’s something that we know we definitely need to get, but other things are taking priority right now. But when we do get around to getting it, we’ll definitely use this site that gives life insurance rates . Want to hear something really weird? Ava has a big kiddie pool (well, big as far as kiddie pools go) and we had just refilled it earlier this week (I can’t remember exactly what day though). Well, I took her out to swim this evening and almost all the water was GONE! And it hadn’t leaked because the plug was still in and the yard wasn’t wet. And there’s no way Buddy could have drank all that water (plus, it was mostly covered by a tarp). The only thing we can think of is that it EVAPORATED! Is that crazy or what??

Have you decided what you’re going to do for you summer vacation this year? Are you a little bored with the traditional summer vacations you’ve been taking all these years? If you want something just a little different, I have just the thing for you! You and the family need to go on motorcycle adventures! Doesn’t that sound like fun?
I have to admit, it’s not something our family is in the position to do right now, with a one year old and another on the way. But we’re having our kids early enough that maybe someday when the kids are all grown up, Chad and I could do something like this before we get too old!
