OK, I’m back from my diabetes test, ultrasound and doctor appointment. Obviously, I don’t know the results of the diabetes test, but I’m kind of nervous about them because I really didn’t feel good for several hours after drinking that stuff. The sonogram went really well, though. The placenta has moved up and away from my cervix and the spot where I was bleeding before is completely gone. We also got a good picture of his face (which we weren’t able to get at my 19-week ultrasound) and we got to make sure he’s still a boy! The only concern now is that he’s breech right now, but he still has 8 weeks to turn, so the doctor isn’t concerned about it. The actual appointment went good, too. Last time, at 26 weeks, my belly measured 26 cm and this time at 28 weeks, it measured 29 cm. Since I grew an extra cm, maybe he’s catching up a little bit on his growth (on the last ultrasound, he was a couple ounces smaller than average). I’ll post ultrasound pictures later today!

Welcome back, Lora! :) I am glad your doctor visits/appointments went well today. I’m also relieved that your placenta has moved out of the way. That is exactly what happened with mine too (with Aubrey). I remembered when I was pregnant with Jordan, my gestational diabetes test returned positive so I had to go back to get the 3-hour test. 2 pokes per hour. That was NOT FUN. Thankfully, it turned out negative the next test. Anyway, good luck on your results.

I hope that Kelvin turns for you into the “birthing” position soon. Thanks for all the updates. :)

That’s nice that you got a good picture of Kelvin’s face :) Ultrasounds are great to have. The person who invented it is one of my favorite people when it comes to being pregnant :)
I’m sure Kelvin will move where he should be in good time. So don’t worry too much :)
