So you all remember how excited I was last week when I found out I was already 4 cm dilated…I pretty much went through the last 9 days thinking it could happen any time. Then I went for my 37-week appointment yesterday and found out there was no change whatsoever (in dilation, effacement or baby’s position)! And then my dr made it worse because he hadn’t looked at my chart yet and he said, “You’re about 3-4 cm.” Then he looked at my chart and saw what he wrote last week and was like, “Yeah, about 4 cm.” Are you kidding me??? So, according to him, he’ll “see me next week.”

It wouldn’t have bothered me so much if I hadn’t been thinking I was going to go into labor at any time. In fact, up until I found out how dilated I was, I was hoping he would be late. But now I’m pretty bummed out. Plus, my grandma has been here for over a week waiting for this baby to come so she can watch Ava while we’re at the hospital and I almost feel worse for her than I do for myself that I haven’t had him yet!
