Chad says that this part of pregnancy is the part where I’m supposed to be so uncomfortable that I don’t even care about the pain of labor or whether I have everything ready…I’m just supposed to want to get this baby out! I have to admit, I’m *almost* to that point. I’m not quite there yet, mainly because I know I’m going to miss being pregnant as soon as it’s over. But I’m definitely uncomfortable! I don’t think he’s dropped after all….my ribs have been killing me all day. And I only have one speed…slow! Chad and I were playing basketball in the driveway tonight and when the ball went right by me and I had to go after it, he jokingly said, “Don’t you know the meaning of the word ‘hustle’?” He got a very dirty look for that! Anyway, back to my complaining…it doesn’t even feel better to lay down. My ribs stop hurting, but for some reason my tailbone starts hurting like CRAZY! If I have to get out of bed at night (which of course, I do, for my million trips to the bathroom), I end up hobbling around like an old lady.

OK, I think I’m done now. All that being said, I’m still not ready for him to come yet. I don’t think I’m quite ready to go back to sleepless nights yet…

The joys and “pains” of motherhood. I guess you can’t have one w/out the other.

Playing basketball? You are I better pregnant woman than I was! haaa. I did like being pregnant though.

Good luck and good luck with Ava and the 2′s let me know if you stumble upon any secrets! Of course with a new baby and sleepless nights, Ava might sail through the terrible part with out you noticing! :)

It sounds like your doing good all things considered. I’ve been having a weird ache/pain the past few weeks. My legs ache where they go into my hip sockets. I have to have Jason stretch my legs out before bed or I wake up with them aching through out the night. Odd.
Also, I definitely am up a ton at night to go to the bathroom as well.
I am not really uncomfortable yet, but like you mentioned, I’m getting there. =)
At least you only have a few more weeks to go!
BTW, I like your new mother/daughter website.

“Chad says that this part of pregnancy is the part where I’m supposed to be so uncomfortable …”

This cracked me up! You gotta love a man who tells a pregnant woman how she should be feeling.

I don’t think I ever got to the point of just wanting the baby out. I wanted to be pregnant for about another week or so. I was hoping she’d be late. But it all worked out perfectly in the end.
I did get slower, but sometimes I had little sperts of energy, like when I’d race Rob from the bed to the door to lock it when we realized we forgot to lock it before getting into bed. I think that little sprint of 30 feet was all I did at the end of my pregnancy though :)
The stairs though…that’s a whole other story. I was out of breath with in a few steps :P I’d beat him to locking the door, but he’s beat me up the stairs :)
