I called today to follow up with Buddy’s new family and make sure he’s doing OK. It turns out he had a little bit of a rough day yesterday. When the owners got home from an appointment, they noticed that he was limping and his muzzle was hot. They took him inside and rubbed his leg for him and he seemed to start doing better. But then this morning, when they got up, they found that he’d thrown up several times. So he spent the afternoon at the vet today. I talked to them when he was still at the vet, so I don’t know what the outcome was, but I hope he’s doing OK now. Either way, it sounds like he’s in really good hands, which is very comforting for us!

Also, he and his new “brother” are getting along good, too. They finally let the other dog off the leash and they’re doing fine.
