This morning, we slept in too late for Chad to run his route, so he decided to stay home and help me with the Thanksgiving planning. He called most of his family members to find out what they could bring so that we could narrow down our grocery list and only buy ingredients for what we’d be making. Then we went shopping for all the non-perishable items. I think we were able to buy about half of what we’re going to need for the meal…the rest will have to wait until closer to Thanksgiving. And we’ll probably buy things for meals for the rest of the weekend then, too. It’s kind of overwhelming, but luckily we have a Dillon’s half a block away from us, so if we forget anything, it’s a very short drive to get it!

I always find it easier to stay on task and get things done when I have Rob helping me. It’s nice that Chad stayed home and got to help you get things done.
