On the blogs that I frequent about saving money and using coupons, I’ve heard about some cashiers being rude about people saving money, but I didn’t expect to experience that for some reason. But today I really did! At Walgreens, I saved $23, paid $26, but got $18 back to use on my next purchase…so basically I got approximately $50 worth of stuff for about $8. I was pretty thrilled, but the cashier was not! As soon as she saw all the Register Rewards start printing out, she got this big scowl on her face and then when I got out to the car, I realized she didn’t even give me my change back! It was only about 50 cents and it wasn’t worth getting the kids out of the car and going back in, but it kind of ticked me off that she took advantage of me being busy with two fussy kids to not give me my change! I guess it’s possible she forgot, but with that scowl on her face, I’m guessing it wasn’t an accident. I’m not sure why she was upset, either…it’s not like it’s her money and it’s going to come out of her paycheck or something. Oh well…I’m still happy that I got such a great deal, even though I had to deal with her!
