Great suggestions, Kimmy! I would have forgotten and not think of some of the things on your list.

Some other optional items:
A hammer - to pound your stakes in (or you can always find and use a rock)
A rake - to clean off your camp site from leaves, twigs, rocks and branches (esp., under your tent - you don't want to sleep with a rock poking at you!)
Aloe Vera gel rub - in case you get sun burnt

Don't forget some board/card games.. if you are into it.

Can you tell I'm tired with all my spelling errors?!

...to hang up WET towels... (not "what")

A RUG- to wipe your feet off... (not "rub")

...BEACH towels and dish towels... (not "beath")

I know there are other erros, but these are the ones I thought I might need to clarify. I figured you'd be able to figure out the other ones on your own pretty easily.

BTW some of the things I listed for you haven't even made it on my own packing list yet. Watch me forget them. I might have to borrow a few things from you :)

I'm still putting my list together, but I wanted to make sure I suggested a couple things for you to bring.

A broom- to sweep out the tent. They get pretty dirty quick, espicially with kids.

A clothes line- to hang up what towels and swimsuits.

A rub- to wipe your feet off before going into the tent.

Towels and rags- beath towels and dish towels and dish rags.

Hand sanatizer- for after using the bathroom.

Bug spray and fly swatter- for getting rid and killing bugs.

Table cloth- for a nice clean surface to eat off of and easier to clean than the wood surface of the picnic table.

Garbage bags- to put your trash in.

Lanterns and flashlights- for at night.

Cooking utensils- that won't melt from the heat of the fire.

Tea kettle- to warm up water for hot drinks or even for waching dishes with.

Folding chairs (one for Ava too :) )- to sit around the fire.

I'm sure there's more, but it's past 1a.m. and my eyes hurt from staying up so long.

I haven't read this blog yet, but from a quick glance, it looks like I'm going to pick up a for tips and reminders when I do my packing :)
I think Kelley wants to join in on the "pot" and have us take pictures for her :)

You camp way more 'luxurious' than we do . . . maybe that's why I dislike camping so much! Where's my hotel room :)

What kind of camping trip is this going to be? In point #1 you mention buying "pot" for the trip!!!LOL! Hope you all have a great time. It's lots of work camping with kids, but they really have a lot of fun. Looking forward to hearing all about it when you return.

Looks like you are all set! :) You are way more prepared than I am. We already have a tent, an air mattress, a sleeping bag for Jordan & Aubrey, a camping grill, and coolers. We still need to get a jug for drinking water (unless we borrow one from Jeb's parents'), gas tank for the grill, and camping chairs.

I plan to bring the pack-n-play for Amberly to sleep on and do diaper changes. I just ordered a FP on-the-go potty (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000K7IF1O/ref=ox_ya_oh_product) for the kids. I figured it will be easier and less 'scary' for them to go potty in the portable potty than the outhouse. I just hope it arrives before we leave for camping!

For food, we plan to make kabobs for some of the meals. I still have to make out our meal menu for when we get our camping groceries.
